Exploring the Best Chrome Extension: Draw on Page

Discover the endlessly versatile Chrome extension , Draw on Page, with its stellar 4.03 aggregate rating from the Chrome extension store. In this comprehensive content , we delve into what exactly makes this chrome extension a leading browser tool, according to numerous user reviews and the high extension ratings.

What is Draw on Page?

Draw on Page is a chrome extension that allows you to enhance your online content editing by enabling you to sketch directly onto any website. This utility functions as an effective chrome extension screenshot tool, where you can annotate and highlight important details directly on the webpage. You simply need to navigate to your desired website and click on the toolbar button to activate the add-on. A user-friendly interface appears on the page, presenting you with a variety of drawing modes to choose from.

Features of Draw on Page

Draw on Page offers two main modes: Drawing Mode and Brushing Mode. Brushing mode is ideal for sketches made with a mouse or pen-enabled device, offering options like pencil, circle, or spray brush with customizable color and width. Drawing Mode, as the name suggests, is perfect for creating shapes. Five different primitive shapes are available for selection. Once a shape is drawn, it has the flexibility to be dragged and dropped, removed, resized, and even rotated and zoomed.

Apart from these features, Draw on Page also allows you to print your annotated pages directly from the tool. Once you complete your drawings, you can close the interface, but not before saving your masterpiece using the 'Save' button provided at the bottom of the UI.

User Experiences

With its high Chrome extension store rating, Draw on Page has garnered positive user reviews. Users like Rob Campbell have described it as a "fantastic and easy to use tool to annotate web pages - the best I've found". He appreciates using it during Google Meet and Zoom meetings. Similarly, user Jonathan Benny finds it superior to other online drawing tools .

However, it's not without its criticisms. Some users have pointed out the absence of shortcut keys and issues with drawings following the scroll, instead of staying put. Such feedback helps provide a balanced view of the extension, and the developers can use it to further improve the tool.

Conclusion

Overall, Draw on Page proves to be a beneficial tool for content editing and annotation, navigating a niche need for direct webpage drawings. This Chrome extension's versatility, user-friendly interface, and effective utility make it one of the top Chrome extensions to download and use. While it has some areas for improvement, it's clear that its features have won the approval of many, making it a recommended browser tool for Chrome users everywhere.

Absolutely garbage, i tried to use this for physics and when you undo it will erase all your work at times. The person who made this is a chimp.

:D

Awesome, has pretty much everything I need but a text function. Would be the best if there was an option to add, edit, and remove text for quick editing instead of drawing all my notes. Undo function is kinda wanky too; instead of undoing the last action you make, it undoes entire sentences/blocks, as well as sometimes redoes things that you undid a long time ago. Could also use a ctrl+shift+z combo if you want to redo things. Maybe there already is, but it only undos when I try to use it to redo things. Also it should allow interactability with the web page while the extension is open. I use it cause it works the best possible for me. There isn't even an eraser tool! At least it's better than the others.

Actually disappointing There are no shortcut keys, We can't shift from moving and drawing quickly we need to close and we need to open again and again. Tools are ok but need to more and proficient..

it works if u dont scroll. if u start scroll the drawings follows with u isntead of stay on the place i drew, quiet pointless if u are trying to highlight stuff

Pathetic

No context JoJo No Context JoJo

Not bad, not bad at all. It's pretty good for like the first five minutes of me using it. I might use it in the future just to draw on if I get bored.

This is a fantastic and easy to use tool to annotate web pages - the best I've found. I use it all the time when hosting Google Meet and Zoom meetings.

Jonathan Benny

In comparison with other online drawing tools, this is better. Good job :)
